Heirloom Dry Bean Tasting
Come sample some Leffler Family Farms heirloom dry beans!  We will be sampling our beans at Denver Urban Homesteading Indoor Market this Saturday (3/31) from 9-3.  There will be dry beans, fresh salad greens and radishes for sale.  Hope to see you there!

CSA Sign-up
Tomorrow is the official CSA sign-up deadline.  We are almost to capacity.  There are only a few shares left!  These first few years, we have made it a point to have a small group (under 30 members this year).   Attention to detail, variety and superior quality are the top priority, and having a smaller group helps us maintain those standards.   Last year, the large variety received much warm reception.  A smaller group also allows for personal attention – we filled several special requests for freezing, parties and personal preference.

Kale Transplants
Red Russian (above), White Russian and Scotch Blue Curly Kale transplants are coming along nicely in the greenhouse.  The plants will eventually be moved to the field where they will provide harvests into winter.  They will also be sold at market.  LFF will grow about six different kale varieties this season.
